I am delighted to put together yet another collaboration with a wonderful local woman, Melissa Neumann Restaurateur of Codie's Place in Agnes Water. Codie's Place is a new kid on the block that offers a welcoming atmosphere at the gateway to Agnes Water Main Beach. Their menu started with an array of tapas meals with the idea that people often wanted to share some local food after a dip in the ocean. They have quickly responded to customer feedback and now provide a full dinner menu. Codie's Place showcase the style of food reminiscent with the beach lifestyle of Agnes Water and 1770, a perfect match to our balmy seaside village.
The afternoon of art, wine and tapas was the brainchild of Melissa, who wanted to introduce a creative endeavour for both locals and tourists alike. Local Artist, Robert Kingsley Gammage was a natural choice for this event, with his wealth of experience in event painting and entertaining. He is sure to bring out the creativity in even the most timid artist.
Whilst painting Chef Jay will provide us with tasting plates from their tapas menu and I will pour the wine to match, and give a brief chat about the wine and food. I have learned while blogging that wine makes the creative juices flow and I am sure this will be your experience too!
Tickets are $60 per person, and include art tuition and your canvas to take home, 4 course tapas paired with wine and an afternoon to remember!
